📷 Camera and Photos

Macro Minder requests access to your camera and photo library to enable fridge scanning, receipt scanning, barcode scanning, and progress photo uploads.

Photos are processed by our AI to identify food items. Fridge scan photos may be stored to help you locate expired items in your fridge. Progress photos are stored privately and only visible to you.

We do not share your photos with third parties for advertising purposes.

🏥 Health Data

We collect health-related information including your weight, height, age, and fitness goals solely to generate personalized meal plans and macro targets.

This data is stored securely and is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

💳 Payments and Subscriptions

Macro Minder offers a subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payment processing is handled by Apple — we never have access to your payment card information.

Subscription management and cancellation can be done through your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

🔒 Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices.

🤝 Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with:

• Service providers who help us operate the app (under strict confidentiality agreements)
• Apple, for payment processing and app distribution
• Law enforcement when required by law

🗑️ Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by going to Settings → Delete Account within the app.

Upon deletion, all your personal data, food items, meal plans, photos, and account information will be permanently removed from our systems.

👶 Children's Privacy

Macro Minder is rated 9+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
